Eggman Empire: Master Emerald Secrets

((Any Eggman empire characters may participate in this mission. Simply post if you want in.))

Eggman stood in his chambers overlooking a desk covered in ancient scrolls and tomes. He would look up in the darkness as the spot of light caught his face showing a maniacal grin. He had summoned some of his best for this job, it was one he would not accept failure for. He had finally found a creature more powerful than even Sonic. He would beat the hedgehog and build his empire!

He continued to study as he awaited his minions.

"Master...I am at your service." Said Sherra with a bow as she peered into the dark room. She was dressed in her usual tight black leather spy suit, which is what she's best at and wanted to help him get closer to sonic.

(Rocky is loaded with his shotgun, his claws, his flame thrower, 2 magnums, plastic explosives, and Incendiary Grenades)

Rocky would walk in from the shadows with a cigarette in his mouth and a shotgun in his hand hanging over his shoulder. He was dressed in his striped shirt, his leather jacket, his red scarf, his jeans and his black cowboy hat. He is loaded with weapons. Rocky would say "So Eggman you said you had a job for me. I just gone one question. You got my payment of $1000. I may be loyal to ya but I ain't no fool. Someone said a long time ago that if you're good at something never do it for free. And with my skills I'm pretty sure that price is actually quite decent. So yea do you have my payment boss." Rocky would stand there tapping his foot and puffing on his cigarette waiting for Eggmans answer.

Eggman would turn and smirk as the light glimmered off his glasses. "Money is what this worlds about is it not? I will pay you for your service, but why ask for money anyhow? This world will soon belong to the Eggman Empire! No one will dare even question me!" he would smile again, "Or those whom are loyal to me."

Eggman would pace to one side, "However...that blue hedgehog always messes with my plans!" Eggman screams hitting the desk and basically breaking the computer on it, "But this time I win. This time even Sonic can't stop me."

Eggman would throw a chaos emerald to Sherra. "She's in command of this mission. Take that to the master emerald. I need you to shatter the master emerald with that chaos emerald. It won't be easy with the guardian around, but I'm sure you two can do it, besides if you fail I'll have no more use for either of you."

Sherra took the emerald with pride, "I will not fail you master." She spoke simple words, telling Eggman exactly what he wants to hear... she knew he hated his minions talking at him like he really cares. This was one of the simple reasons he liked her and could use her well, she listened and did the job right...always.

But knowing this 'new guy' coming along with her, she would have to make sure he doesn't mess her mission up. She didn't know him, or anything about him for that matter... therefor she didn't trust him so well either. She was going to keep a close eye on him when possible.

Rocky would glare at the bat in intrigue trying to figure her out and curious to see if she was a loyalist like him. He smirked and said "Oh don't get me wrong Eggman I still owe you for taking the pain away from me and I said I would help you become king of the world in return." He would then take his cigarette out of his mouth turn around and while walking away waved it in the air saying "But these cigarettes don't pay for themselves and your not quite king of the world just yet. Though I intend to change that. Oh and don't worry about that there Sonic or the guardian. They ain't never seen anything like me. If Sonic even tries to interfere then I'll just mount his idiot blue head on my wall. Same goes for anyone else who tries to stop me." He put his cigarette back in his mouth. As he passed by Sherra he said "See you out there partner." He then walks outside and waits for his partner.

Eggman would smile, "Like that one, what a fine robot. His personal freedom is a creative failure, but who am I to judge." Eggman would laugh in his weird giggly yet evil way. "Here take this, it'll make your journey a bit easier, but remember it's only good for one trip."

Eggman would hand Sherra a warp ring, "Don't keep me waiting."

((For anyone who does not know a warp ring allows transportation to one zone it is set for. However once used it is gone for good. You'll have to use this one to find out where it goes, simply throw it and jump on through. XP))

Sherra would take the ring, "lets be on our way..." She would say to the raccoon as she tossed it, opening the portal to its location. She stepped off towards the portal as she awaited the raccoon silently..."I have an emerald to destroy."

Rocky would take Sherre's last line as an insult and say while grabbing her hand "Whoa. Hold on lady. You may think that your the hot stuff around here but Eggman sent us both out for a reason. and he never usually sends me out unless it is something very important." Suddenly mumbling under his voice "Although I would like an easy mission once in a while but whatever." going back to normal speak Rocky says "The fact is Eggman sent both of us because this mission is probably going to need us both to get her done. Don't go thinkin that I am about to slow you down. Cause in reality you probably are going to slow me down." He lets go of Sherra's hand and loads his shotgun making a "click click" noise. pointing the shotgun upwards he says "Now lets go blow ourselves up a big 'ol gem." Rocky puts the shotgun back over his shoulder and walks through the warp ring unknowing of where it went.

Sherra would lightly chuckle under her breath, "Eggman put me in charge of this mission, he has put this emerald in my hands to destroy the emerald myself. We are working together because in either to do this, we have to get rid of the knuckles first. Now lets move!" She would order the Raccoon as she was getting very impatient and wanted to get to her job and finish it as planned.

Rocky would look at Sherra as she entered and said her last lines. Rocky then said "Well that is more than likely because Eggman could tell that you would have a better chance of getting to the big gem. But none the less don't worry if that there Knuckles tries to cause you trouble I'll turn his hands into my ashtrays. See I'm a specialist at hunting and a demolitions expert. I can keep him distracted while you break that there gem. That should make your job easier." Rocky smirks still smoking the cigarette "like a boss."

Sherra would snap turning to him, "YOU DEAL WITH THE ECHIDNA! WHILE I DESTROY THE MASTER EMERALD!!! KAPEESH?!" She turned, about to walk through the portal..."....And...do not test me. You do not know what Im capable of...now do your damn job." She ended before finally vanishing through the portal, Rocky would have only a few seconds before it closed behind her to jump through.

Rocky would say "Jeez. Testy aren't we. So much for trying to be civil." Rocky would jump through the portal annoyed at the partner that Eggman saddled him up with. As he entered he would look around his surroundings and dig into his pockets for the plastic explosives. "Might be a good idea to set a trap in case things get iffy and we need a good distraction for a quick getaway." he would then set up the plastic explosives so that he could place them quickly when he needed to.

the two would appear outside of a large old looking ruin. To their right and back was a forest, in front was the ruin, and to their left dropped off to the world below about 250km below them. They could barely even see it though because of the thick layer of clouds below. This warp ring had taken them right to angel island.

The ruins ahead looked similar to old legend, where the echidna shrines were held for each of the chaos emeralds, perhaps the master emerald as well.

Sherra would begin looking around, by noticing the ruins and statues that remained gave her enough information to realize where she was. She looked back at the raccoon, "A wise idea."She would simply say.

"Knuckles is somewhere on this island...you need to find him before he finds us...i suggest luring him out as a distraction...I can get to the master emerald without being detected, he won't even notice im here being to busy with you." She would smirk at the end as she began to fly up into a tree as she looked beyond from a high branch.

Rocky says "Lady you and I are singing the same tune." Rocky would look for a good vantage point to attack Knuckles at opting for the middle of the forest where he can hunt Knuckles serengeti style. Rocky says "I will draw Knuckes there." he points to a semi nearby forest. Rocky says "Wait here until you hear the explosion. Trust me I will make sure to draw in Knuckles." Rocky then runs off to the location and begins setting up the C4 Plastic Explosives. (about 30 of them. see C4 to see how big an impact it has.) Rocky sets them all to one fuse and runs several meters away. Rocky says "Ok It's ready. Hope you hear this Knuckles. Hehehe Timber." as he arms and detonates the C4 blowing up a huge chunk of the forest. He would then go behind some surviving trees near the explosion site setting up C4 and Grenade Traps on his way and wait for Knuckles.

(C4 1700 lbs of it blowing up that is what I am doing only more spread out to draw more attention.)


((Hows that for a distraction. I think that will draw in Knuckles))

Sherra would mutter to herself in the tree, "hmph... well played."She would continue to wait for knuckles to seek out the location, than...she will have her chance at destroying the master emerald without Knuckle's even realizing it!

Sherra would see something in the distance coming towards the temple. It looked to be a alligator of some sort. He wore headphones and a large gold chain. He was talking with a bee who kept buzzing around his head. ((They were headed towards the temple and would arrive within the next 2 admin posts.))

"Hmmm...?" Sherra would notice the two walking towards the temple. She would quietly leap off and glide into the trees as she fallowed them in secret. "These two are going to cause a problem...I can't have them ruin this mission." She spoke quietly to herself as she watched them, she would begin to crack her knuckles as she giggled...and licked her lips a little from the looks of that bee.

Rocky would begin looking around for Knuckles and say quietly "Now where the heck is that ornery red idiot. I would think he would be running over here given I just blew up half a forest." Rocky would walk out from behind the tree, takes his hat off and scratches his head. He begins wondering if they found Sherra and says "Hmmm maybe the little lady got herself into trouble. I better go check." Rocky contemplates walking back.

"You should try to be more subtle my friend." said a voice seemingly form nowhere by Rocky.

"Better go check on knux." Sherra would overhear the crocodile as he got closer, "Ya I bet Espio's already caught the explosion culprit. Another one bites the dust!" said the bee in a very childish deminor.

They were now almost directly under Sherra.

Rocky would look around saying "You don't sound like that Knuckles character I've been hearing about who are you and are you the only one here or are there more of you. Possibly even Knuckles. See boy I've been sent to be your executioner and I intend to do just that." Rocky would still look for the unknown voice with his shotgun at the ready.

Sherra watched as they now appeared to be right under her toes, she would reach to take out a small metal tube along with a tiny dart that she tucked into the hole she would place her mouth. Aiming at the bee, she inhaled and than blew the drugged filled dart into the bee's neck. ((Take a look at her inventory, I have been listing her weapons. I have their what she will start with until she obtains more in the future.))The dart would knock out Charmy in an instant, being so small. She than reached for another dart, tucked it into the tube and aimed it at Vector's neck as she blew the dart straight into his neck as well. She was hidden high up in the tree as she watched to see if he would fall.

((Sherra))

Vector would watch and see Charmy get hit in the neck and fall to the ground. Vector however, gets hit in the neck and simply takes the dart out, turning towards his attacker. He would yell at her sending a shockwave through the air.

Espio would appear standing upside down on a tree branch at the other end of the clearing, a kunai in hand. "I am a ninja from the rainbow valley, a master of the real and unreal. You are a trespasser here, and must be dealt with as such, however if you leave this place you won't have to get hurt."
